D’Banj was nominated in the following categories: World’s Best Song (Oliver Twist), World’s Best Male Artist, World’s Best Video (Oliver Twist) and Best African Act.
D'banj is up against Kanye West and Big Sean as they were all nominated for the 2012 "World’s Best Male Artist" of the World Music Awards.
The awards which honor the World’s Best-Selling Recording-Artists as chosen by fans, will take place on the 20th Dec in Miami, with Florida and Rihanna leading this year with 8 nominations, followed by Justin Bieber & Adele who both have 7. So with 4 D’Banj is doing pretty well! Congrats to him!
