Gen.Muhammadu Buhari's Daughter Dies From Sickle Cell Disease
Zulai Buhari, 40, the first daughter of former Nigeria head of state, General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) has died.
She died yesterday from sickle cell anemia, she developed complications after having a baby two days ago at Chasel Hospital, private clinic in Ungwar Sarki area of Kaduna.
She passed away despite effort to save her. However, the new born baby is healthy and doing well.
Zulai's father General Buhari has been a candidate in several of Nigeria's presidential elections.
She is survived by her husband, Captain Mahmud Junaid and three children.
Zulai was be put to rest last night in Kaduna according to Islamic rights.
