After Psquare broke up with May D, the Okoye brothers refused to state why they separated with May D who was signed to Square records. Jude Okoye, CEO of Square Records and Psquare's manager finally let the cat out of the bag in a recent interview in Uganda.
"We sign in artistes as our way of giving back to the society, and by the time they become known, we let them go e.g Jay Martins & Bracket." However when May D came in ,it was different ,they tried to form a group, but he wanted more than that, he wanted to be Psquare, a name that they have struggled to build for years. He wanted cars and flashy things all in a year, forgetting it took P Square 7/8 years to achieve that. So he let him go.
