The annual Channel O Music Video Awards took place on Saturday, 17th November, 2012 at Walter Sisulu Square in Kliptown, bringing the Channel O Music Video Awards to Soweto for the first time.
Nigeria went home with 8 awards won in the different categories, with D'banj winning the award of all awards! "Most Gifted Music Video Of The Year" and Davido "Most Gifted New Comer Of The Year".
