Domestic Violence: Nursing mother stabs husband to death
The police in Lagos have arrested a 33-year-old woman, Biola Gbadamosi, for allegedly murdering her husband, Jamiu, in the Ikorodu area of the state.According to the police, the suspect, who is a nursing mother, stabbed her husband with a knife during an argument over rice.
PUNCH Metro learnt that the suspect and her husband, who is a Vehicle Inspection Officer, had a history of domestic violence prior to the incident.Biola, who spoke to our correspondent while fighting back tears, said she had no intention of killing her husband, adding that she only stabbed him once on the thigh.She said,

Kim Kardashian slams claim that she spent $80k on surgical procedures to rid herself of baby weight
She's been very open about her struggle to shed the weight she gained while pregnant with daughter ,North West. And Kim Kardashian came out fighting on Wednesday after a magazine report claimed she spent $80,000 on procedures to cheat her way to her defined post-baby body. The 33-year-old took to Twitter to debunk the claims:
'I am very frustrated today seeing reports that I got surgery to lose my baby weight!
'This is FALSE. I worked so hard to train myself and eat healthy, I work out so hard & this was such a challenge for me but I did it!!!
'I'm so proud of my accomplishment & NO ONE will take this away from me with fake reports! Say what u want about me but I work hard & am the most disciplined person u will ever meet!'

Two weeks after the Pope moved the world when he embraced victim of terrible disease, his compassion brings a moment of joy to another disfigured man. Pope Francis while speaking to the crowd, stopped and hugged a man who lacked facial features.
The man's identity is not known, nor are the details of what caused such terrible damage to his face.

Zimmerman, who was arrested Monday after his girlfriend Samantha Scheibe called 911 saying that he threatened her with a double-barrel shotgun, has been dodging his estranged wife's attempts to legally notify him that she wants a divorce. Until Zimmerman got the divorce papers, a judge refused to proceed with the divorce case. Zimmerman, who was acquitted this summer of murdering teenager Trayvon Martin, is 'millions' of dollars in debt and relying on public defenders for his legal team, his attorney revealed.

One of the most powerful storms on record, Typhoon Haiyan, has killed 1,200 people and left many more injured.According to the Red Cross, 1,200 have been left dead - 1,000 of those in the city of Tacloban, on the island of Leyte.About four million people are believed to have been affected by the category five storm, according to the country's national disaster agency. This figure includes 800,000 people who had to be evacuated before the storm struck.Winds of up to 235mph and gusts of 170mph left a trail of destruction - triggering major landslides, knocking out power and communications and causing catastrophic widespread damage. Hundreds of homes have been flattened and scores of streets flooded.
