LOVE AND OIL TRAILER - Directed by Okechukwu Oku (theORACLE)
A series of harmless events serve up a recipe for political shenanigans and violence, in the otherwise peaceful tourist town of Ozalla. Gregory Eneh (Yul Edochie), a medical doctor, rebels against the king's plan to make him son-in-law and sole-heir. This leads to a lot of outrage. From his seemingly-unaffected mother, Golibe Eneh (Maureen Okpoko) through to the Igwe Silas Nnaji (Jibola Dabo) and to the conniving Chief Nwobodo (Agbogidi). Gregory soon finds that there was more to the proposed union to the Princess (Nuella Njubuigbo), when kidnap and violent threats and oil interests climax in a shocking finale that brings the villain closer home than he ever imagined. Perhaps, this is an age-long grudge come back to life, and not just a botched love union?
The movie was shot in Enugu, is produced by Oracle Films; associate produced by Mr Perfect and also stars Rita Arum, Gadiel Onwudiwe, Nazo Ekezie and Samsunny. It was written by Patrick "Koinage" Nnamani and directed by Okechukwu Oku "theORACLE"

Governor Chime admits he held his wife hostage because he wants the best for her
Enugu State governor, Sullivan Chime, has confirmed reports that he is keeping his wife incarcerated, but that he is doing so in her interest.
According to SaharaReporters, Gov Chime said he wanted the best for his wife
“I wanted the best for her and that’s why I pleaded with the doctors to have her treated at home.That’s also why I allowed her access to her telephone and laptop which unfortunately led to the stage where I’m now being falsely accused of imprisoning or detaining my own wife.”With his wife, Clara Chime by his side at a press conference in Enugu, Gov Chime disclosed that the battle concerning his wife’s health situation commenced even before his inauguration in 2011.Continue after cut

Man, mistress found dead naked in Ebonyi
A 45-year-old man, Nweze and a young woman suspected to be his mistress Ogechi, have been found dead in the bedroom naked at Okposi Achara in Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State. The deceased, Nweze was said to be married with children and resident in Ondo State but came back home for a burial when the incident happened. Neighbours suspected that the deaths could have been caused by fume from a generating set which was on until police came in the morning.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, Mr. Sylvester Igbo, a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), who confirmed the incident, said the woman also had children with her estranged husband before she died.

Enugu First Lady accuses Governor Chime of treating her like a slave
The First Lady of Enugu State, Clara Chime has cried out to human rights bodies to save her from the brutal hands of Governor Sullivan Chime, whom she has accused of treating her like a slave.The First Lady in an emotion-laden letter obtained by SaharaReporters disclosed that since she got married to the governor, sometime in October 2008, she had never enjoyed her marriage and has been denied of her matrimonial rights.She claimed that since she moved into Chime’s house, they have never slept on the same bed.
Clara in the letter also alleged that she has been introduced to two psychiatrists whom she identified as Dr. Onwukwe and Dr. Agumo, and they prescribed
“all kinds of drugs that end up keeping me acute depressed and also drives me into hallucinations."

20-year-old accused of raping 14-year-old
A 20-year-old boy, Feyi Olatunji, has been arrested by the Police in Ile-Ife for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl.The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, for the state Police Command, DSP Folashade Odoro, said in a statement in Osogbo that the suspected rapist was arrested in Ile-Ife after committing the alleged offence.
Odoro said the 14-year-old girl was sent to buy an electrical bulb and food items by her guardian on October 12, when Olatunji dragged her to his mother’s shop at Ogo-Oluwa area of the town and raped her atop a table, then locked her up till the following day.She said that the state Police Command had launched investigations into the matter and would ensure that justice is done, adding that the suspect would be arraigned in court after completion of investigations on the matter.
Army kills 37 Boko Haram militants in Borno
The 7 Division of the Nigerian Army said on Tuesday that it had killed 37 suspected Boko Haram militants after an operation in Borno.
The Spokesman of the division, Captain Aliyu Danja, made the disclosure in a statement in Maiduguri.“Based on available intelligence, troops of 7 Division of the Nigerian Army launched attacks on a suspected Boko Haram camp located in Alagarno in Borno.“The operation, which commenced last Monday, involved a coordinated ground and air assault,” he said.
He said it was a coordinated attack by troops of the 7 Div. in conjunction with 79 composite group of the Nigerian Air Force, Maiduguri, aimed at destroying the terrorists’ camp.
“A total of 37 suspected Boko Haram militants were killed in a gunfire exchange while several others fled with gun shot wounds,’’ the spokesman said.He also said that, “arms and ammunition were recovered. Three Hilux vehicles and several motorcycles belonging to the suspects were destroyed.’’

BBM for Android and iPhone is finally out
Blackberry has resumed a phased rollout of its BBM messaging app for Android and Apple devices after September's botched launch.
The free app is now available for download on Google Play, the App Store and selected Samsung App Stores.But users had to register an email address after downloading the app then wait in line until they were told they could begin using it,Blackberry said:
