On the 15th of January 2014, I got married to my lover and Best Friend. It was such an intimate event, I haven't stopped apologising to family and friends who feel slighted that they could not attend. I really did not wish to keep it a secret, If anything we would have loved to have all our loved ones there with us but this was our registry and so much had happened between Maje and I in the last 3 months. Plus, it was such a huge surprise, I had no clue. I hate surprises but I must say, this one knocked me out of my elements because i usually suspect something is happening. Hehehehe! I am not fully over it yet.

Mr. Ngozi Chilekezi and his wife, Patience alias Oil, were burnt to death in the Umuodo community of Itu, Ezinihitte Local Government Area of Imo State last weekend.According to the Vanguard, the couple had lived together as husband and wife for about 12 years before the well executed murder by the wife. The late woman had allegedly planned to elope with another man but the plot leaked to her husband, who allegedly confronted the strange man and started making plans to take another wife.Fortunately, the husband, who was badly burnt at the time he was rushed to a nearby hospital, was able to narrate what happened to his relations before he died.Late Chilekezi said he was invited last Saturday into their living room by his wife at about 1.30 p.m. for a chat.

Kanye West is making headlines again after allegedly assaulting a young man at a Beverly Hills office building. According to E! Online Kanye attack the 18-year-old who screamed racial slurs at him and also verbally abused his woman....
"Kim and Kanye were meeting for an appointment today," the source tells E! News. "Kim arrived later than Kanye. En route into the building Kim was swarmed by photogs she saw a young man yelling racial slurs at the paparazzi. We're told the guy allegedly tried to help Kim get in the building, as he started screaming, "F**k these fa**ot-ass n****rs"" -- referring to the paparazzi. Kim told him he shouldn't use racial slurs and he turned on her and verbally assaulted her."

Olusegun Obasanjo withdraws from PDP...writes another open letter
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has fired another letter, this time, to the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, in which he gave a notice of his withdrawal from the activities of the party.Obasanjo also sent a copy of the letter to President Goodluck Jonathan as National Leader of the party. A copy of the letter was obtained by the Saturday Tribune. The former president, in the letter, said he was withdrawing from all activities of the party because the PDP had been negating the principles of morality, decency and discipline in its decisions, especially as they affect the South West where he comes from.

President Asks Sanusi to Resign over Leaked $49.8bn Letter
According to THISDAY...
President Goodluck Jonathan has asked the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, to resign immediately on the grounds that the letter Sanusi wrote to him on the unremitted $49.8 billion oil revenue to the Federation Account, was leaked to former President Olusegun Obasanjo by the CBN governor.But Sanusi who has denied leaking the letter to anyone, has refused to resign and informed the president during the heated telephone exchange that he could only be removed by two-thirds of the Senate as required by law.

Part-time student commits suicide
A part-time student of The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Oyo State, Timilehin Ayobami Ogundare has been found dead in his room at Ilupeju area, Baasala, Asero, Abeokuta, Ogun State in western Nigeria.He was believed to have committed suicide by hanging himself.P.M.NEWS also gathered that the deceased was a computer operator with a firm, Blueprint Music Studio in Abeokuta, before his death.A family source who did not want his name in print disclosed that the deceased tried to kill himself last year but was stopped by some people.
The relation revealed that the deceased was arrested by some security guards and handed over to men of the state vigilance service when he attempted to jump into River Ogun. He was later released.
