Akwa Ibom Gov. Godswill Akpabio ,acquires million-dollar bullet-proof luxury vans

 Akwa Ibom State governor, Godswill Akpabio, has acquired an exotic bullet-proof sprinter luxury vans from US-based Texas Armoring Corporation (TAC).Mr. Akpabio took delivery of the armoured Mercedes Benz vans recently after they were customized to his specifications by TAC in Texas. His vans will join a remarkable fleet of top-of-the-line bulletproof luxury Sport Utility Vehicles (SUV). The photographs of the tastefully customized vans was uploaded on the Facebook page of The Texas Armoring Company, using the images to promote its products.Those familiar with automobiles and their costs say Mr. Akpabio could have spent about a million dollar depending on the extent of customisation and the number of units.
This is coming 5days after he donated two brand new Toyota SUVs to newly wed musician Tuface Idibia and wife, Annie Macaulay. See more pics after cut...

Young mother buries her 2 year-old daughter alive

 A young mother, Adeola Joseph, that buried her only child alive in her residence in Osogbo, Osun state for two days in 2012, has been jailed for six years. The trial Chief Magistrate, Mr Olusola Aluko, ordered that the 18-year-old mother should serve the jail term with hard labour. Handing down the judgment, the magistrate said the convict who looked unrepentant, did not deserve to live among humans.
He noted: “The convict is callous and may not change from her devilish act as she did not show any remorse. She may do worse if given the opportunity to continue to live amongst human beings. She needs to learn how to live among human beings and not animals.”

Benita Nzeribe lands multi-million deal as face of NAMA

 The Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) recently unveiled star actress, Benita Nzeribe, as its Air Safety Ambassador.The official unveiling of the actress took place at NAMA headquarters, Ikeja,  Lagos, with cheers and applaud by both board members and staff, who all described the choice of Nzeribe as well deserved.The Ihiala, Anambra state-born star of the blockbuster TV drama series Beyond Our Dreams however,  refused to give details of the multi million Naira endorsement deal. Congrats to her.

Father ties, locks up six-year-old daughter for witchcraft

   A 42-year-old father, Mr. Edet Etok-Akpan, is currently being quizzed at the headquarters of the Cross River State Police Command in Calabar for torturing his six-year-old daughter, Edidiong, as a result of a church prophetess' pronouncement that the girl was a witch.Edidiong was beaten by her father and locked up in a room with her hands, mouth and face bound for four days before she was rescued by neighbours.It was learnt that Etok-Akpan started beating her on February 19 after an unidentified prophetess in their church told him that Edidiong was the witch responsible for the stagnancy in his life.

  “I wonder why some jobless people want to destroy my relationship.Since I proposed to Tiwa, these sets of destroyers have been on my neck. Without me granting them interviews, they fabricate all kind of lies about our union. Some would even go to the extent of quoting me, even when they never got to talk to me. It’s all a lie. I have never been married and I don’t know why and where they got the pictures from. Rumour mongers and bloggers especially, are beginning to show how inexperienced they are on this job. I wonder if this people have any good thing doing.”

There are also rumours that he had an affair with Annie Macaulay.

In a recent interview,  Kenny Rodriguez,  Uche Jombo's husband open up about their marriage ,how he met his wife and her profession. He flew in last week from America to support his wife in her "My life,my damage" movie premiere.

(Laugh) It was really fun because we got to know each other through a friend who happens to be a business partner but it took some few months and persuasion before she finally agreed to marry me because I told her point blank that I want to marry her and all. She paused and never said anything. Then there was this time we both went on jet skiing, one thing led to another and she said she was going to kill me because it took a little distance before we could get to the boat; so I told her if you want to kill me then marry me because that will make it a bit easier and the rest is history now.

How My Daughter Was Killed by Her Boyfriend – Father

      This is certainly not the best of times for the Bournes’ family who are currently mourning following the alleged killing of Olayinde Bournes’, by her boyfriend,last Thursday, in Aguda Ogba area of Lagos.The deceased, a 22-year-old part time student of the Lagos State Polytechnic, was allegedly beaten to death by her boyfriend over an unknown reason.Crime Guard gathered that the 200 level Business Administration student had gone to bid her boyfriend, Abuchi Cyril, 24, goodbye , as the latter was reportedly planning to travel to Malaysia next day (Friday), unknown to her that would be her final sojourn on earth.Although it could not be ascertained what transpired between the love birds behind closed doors but it was gathered that rather than being entertained in his parents’ apartment located on number 25 Shorimade Street, Aguda Ogba, Abuchi took Olayinde to a neighbours apartment, who at that time was away.But apprehension, set in, after several calls on Olayinde’s phone by her father, met dead silence. Just as he reportedly stepped outside to see if his daughter was anywhere around, he met some persons in group discussing what was later discovered to be her daughter’s demise.

D’BANJ AND BANKULLI SPLIT OVER KANYE WEST

Just when we thought the era of breakup has come to an end another emerges. D'banj and his manager Seun Bankulli have gone their separate ways after D'banj found out he went to Paris after the Koko concert in December to work on Kanye West's next album without his consent.  Bankulli's trip to Paris was to drop ad libs on Kanye's LP. He also hooked up with G.O.O.D Music producer Travis Scott in Paris around December.  Bankulli has removed anything that has to do with D'banj off his social media profiles.  Good things never last I guess.

Video:Taxi driver handcuffed to back of police van and dragged to his death in South Africa

Taxi driver, Mido Macia, 27, was today assaulted by South Africa police officers , handcuffed to the back of a police van and dragged along the road. He was found dead 2hrs later in a police cell. His crime? He had parked on the wrong side of the road. The Mozambican immigrant died from head injuries and internal bleeding.
