Designer Sean Miles has built the quirky art piece using old Nokia and LG handsets sent in by O2 Recycle customers who no longer had a use for them and building them into iconic footwear that includes a Christian Louboutin heel, a classic men’s brogue, a Nike Air trainer and a Hunter Welly.
These Walkie Talkies are upcycled by combining recycled handsets and vintage shoes to create fully functional phones that double as pieces of desirable art.

Police arrest son for killing father over N40m gratuity
The Cross River State Police Command has arrested a man, identified as Ekemini Bassey for allegedly killing his father, a retired University of Calabar lecturer, Prof. Nathaniel Bassey, to claim his N40m gratuity.
Ekemini’s brother, Odiong Bassey, is also wanted by the police for being an accomplice in the alleged murder.
PUNCH Metro learnt on Saturday that the duo had been having a running battle with their late father, who was not pleased with their recent negative behaviours.
A family source, who pleaded anonymity, said Ekemini and Odiong, who are university drop-outs, had been making frivolous financial demands on their late father.

Christ Embassy Church Pastors sweat to bring back a dead boy to life
Mourners at a funeral wake of a 15-year-old-boy in Gweru were left speechless when a team of pastors stormed the house and started praying over the body of Tatenda Dick in a bid to resurrect him.
Tatenda Dick had died the previous day from a terminal illness.
Witnesses said three pastors from the local Christ Embassy Church came and conducted prayers meant to bring Tatenda back to life as had happened to the Biblical Lazarus. A close relative of Tatenda said the three pastors came into the lounge where the coffin was and started sprinkling water on mourners in the room while speaking in tongues.

I guess they noticed she didn't care and decided to hit on her half sister, 15-year-old, Kylie Jenner ,saying that Bruce Jenner is not her father (really, how stupid can some editors be? The resemblance is too obvious...anything to sell.)

Six years after a death sentence was slammed on him, by Lagos High Court presided by Justice Joseph Oyewole on January 11, 2007 , for alleged murder of a church member, Ann Uzoh, as well as the attempted murder of five other members of his church. A Court of Appeal, sitting in Lagos, yesterday ruled that Lagos pastor and General-Overseer of the Christian Praying Assembly, Chukwuemeka Ezeugo (a.k.a. Rev. King), must die by hanging.

Wizkid Leaves E.M.E
Rumours going on is that E.M.E starboy Wizkid has left the record label. The rumours have been going on for a while now even before he acquired his new house in Lekki. It also added to the rumours couple with the fact that the artistes all lived together before he moved out.When Niyola was asked if the rumours were true said that each artist have a contract with the label and once the contract is over the artist can either move on or renew the contract.
